Pickleball In the Pueblo

Fastest growing activity in the US.  Slower to develop in our neighborhood.  But rest assured it’s on the way.    Pickleball courts are smaller and the nets not as high as tennis. A group from Tao brings their equipment and sets up in the Domo in the Pueblo Monday-Wednesday-Friday mornings starting about 9:00.  Anyone who shows up can rotate in.  Players bring their rackets and balls, which can be purchased online from Amazon, Amazon.mx, and Mercado Libre as well as stores in the cities.

Part of the HekabBe Library renovations includes a pickleball court.  You have to watch out for the short basketballers playing on one end!

    • Hola! A group of players meet at the “domo” in Akumal Pueblo. Take a left at the basketball court and you’ll see the playing area. Also, Google “Akumal pickleball” for info.

    • The skinny is that games at Akumal are M-W-F at 9:00ish. At Chemuyil they play M & Thu at 9:00ish. Have fun!
