  1. All the real estate for sale and rental signs make north akumal feel like it’s going out of business. Especially the old faded signs that remain even though the properties may not even been on the market. I suggest the homeowners have ALL signs removed. The real estate brokers that have current listings should have one consistent size for all for sale or rent signs and, like in Miami, pay a small annual few and renew each year. Stickers on the signs could confirm they are current with date of issue and a numeric sticker #. Let’s make North Akumal more exclusive and increase property values and not look like a giant yard sale !!!

  2. The entrance from 307 to Las casitas driveway is a complete embarrassment. Aside from being dangerous and very ugly, being know as the worst entry to any beach in the Mayan riviera is an embarrassment to owners and visitors alike. Something must be done.
It does not represent all the beauty that exists in Playa Akumal.
