February 7th-Fundraiser News
Nancy and her group of volunteers are working hard on the fundraiser for “Keeping It Akumal”.
Exciting news!! Rockumal has agreed to play for the Fundraiser from 6 pm to 8 pm. It you love rock and roll, you’ll love this band.! They’ll have T-shirts, hats, bags and other items for sale that night as well. Rockumal has a great following and we hope these followers will come out and support the fundraiser.
Also, Kaori Sueki at Hekab Be Library tells me the children will create artwork for our silent auction. This will give the children a place to showcase their art. Kaori and her bevy of volunteers really make the library work. I had a peek at the holiday cards and ornaments the children created for Christmas, which will be sold at the golf course in Tao.
I will continue to update you on what’s happening with the fundraiser. We have lots of great items for the silent auction and I’ll give more highlights soon!
