The Akumal Foodie has been making frequent trips to the Pueblo lately. Luis, the 20-year veteran chef from Que Onda, is in business selling his marvelous pastas and tacos al pastor. He’s open Thursday thru Monday from 6:00pm to 11:00. Pasta sauces available are pomodoro, alfredo, Maribel, viva México, alioli, and from time to time bolognese. All platos are to-go.
Luis and his wife are cooking from their home. It’s easy to find: go up main street, turn left at La Cueva (1 block from the end of the paved road), and you’ll see the taco truck in front of Luis’ house. He’ll probably be grilling outside!
