LOVE POEMS FOR DUMMIES (A Valentine’s Day Edition)
with residency artist/poet SARAH SWEENEY
Whether you’re in love or lovelorn this Valentine’s Day, we’re going to channel our emotions into our very own love—or anti-love—poems. Expanding our knowledge of love poems, we’ll dispense of classical tropes and sentimental cliches by examining some contemporary love and heartbreak poems, and use them as a springboard into writing our own odes for our beloved, or lamentations for the one who got away!
…at the residency gardens.
PLEASE BRING A PEN and maybe laptop if you wish to write on one!
