Nayeli Aparicio has opened her second store in Akumal, just inside the arch near the basketball court. Nayeli opened her first store in Akumal in 2006. Her father is a painter and she wanted a space to sell his art. With good business sense, even after battling both hurricane Wilma and Dean, she has now opened her fourth store. Two stores are in Tulum: one on the beach road just past Le Zebra hotel, and the other store across from the Palacio Municipal and HSBC bank. She has art and other Mexican made items from all over the country.
