Sample solar street lights are up. The light closest to Yool Caanal is an 8’ mount with 1000 illumination; closest to La Tortuga is 2000 illumination set at 9’. The light becomes brighter when foot or vehicle traffic passes, then returns to the dim setting. Lights will be in place until Friday, 5 May, so check them out!
Coo-op art group Varios Barrios came to Akumal Pueblo in April and spent a week painting murals throughout town. These 2 are on the north side of the ball court on main street.This mural appears just east of the other two.
