This was new to a whole bunch of us! The US Consular Agency is doing business in a new location. It’s in the little mall with Banco Santander across the highway a bit north of Sam’s. Go up the stairs located at the rear of the building, and at the south end of the second floor is the Agency. All kinds of info is posted on the door — click on foto below to enlarge. There’s additional parking in the rear of the mall.
Not a new situation for the new colonia in Akumal Pueblo, but a new promise . . . After staging a demonstration on 25 April to protest CFE (the federal commission) cutting the power line into the addition and the continued lack of full electric service, the Presidente of Tulum promised residents a big generator. CFE has issues on both sides of the highway and can’t seem to get its act together. [hover over photo for caption]
Just a reminder that it’s a breeze to order — and receive! from Amazon.com.mx. A Kindle reader and 2 covers were ordered on a Thursday and delivered the next Monday. I mean, WOW! All deliveries must be signed for, and Amazon.com.mx then emails the purchaser the name of the signee.
