Vecinos Annual Meeting 2022
Members of Vecinos de Akumal Norte:
On behalf of the Board of Vecinos you are invited to the Annual (Ordinary) Meeting of Vecinos on February 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. upstairs at La Buena Vida Restaurant in Akumal Norte, Municipality of Tulum, Quintana Roo; attendance may be via Zoom due to concern regarding the possibility of continued transmission of COVID-19.
If there are not sufficient members represented in person or by proxy to reach a quorum for the meeting described above, then by this notice we are calling a second meeting for February 17, 2021 at 11.30 am upstairs; and by Zoom as a result of the conditions mentioned above.
The Agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1- Designation of President, Scrutineer and Secretary of the meeting and attendance roll call.
2 – Verification of legal quorum and declaration that meeting is legally constituted
3 – Ratification of appointment of President, Scrutineer and Secretary for the meeting
4 – Reading of Agenda
5 – Retirement and Admission of new Members
6 – Discussion and Approval of Treasurer’s report for 2021
7– President’s Report and 2022 Priorities
8 – Budget for 2022
9 – Committee Reports
10 – Appointment of Members of the Board and Ratification
11 – Other Business
12 – Designation of persons to appear and formalize the resolutions
13 – Writing reading and approval of minutes and closing of meeting
In case you are unable to attend, attached is a proxy form (in Spanish) for you to nominate another member of Vecinos to vote on your behalf. The designated person must present to the legal advisor for the Association the signed proxy form and send by email to [email protected] before the start of the meeting.
