We have a vet clinic in Akumal! In mid-October Dra. Arlette Torres-Enriquez Eyssautier opened her vet shop Petventiva for consults, vaccinations, health certificates, de-parasite meds, flea and tic treatments. Doctora will also make non-urgent house calls.
The clinic also sells pet food and pet accessories and is located in Akumal Pueblo, on the right as you drive in, next door to Comex. Currently, Dra. Arlette is offering vaccinations at a discounted price. Clinic hours are Tuesdays through Fridays 10am-6:30pm, Saturdays 10-5, and Sundays 11-4; the clinic is closed Mondays. Originally from Mexico City, Dra. Arlette speaks fluent French, Spanish, and some English. She has been in the Riviera Maya for seven years, working in Cancun and then Tulum, alongside Dr. Juan. She still works in partnership with Dr. Juan and will send patients for surgeries to his clinic in Tulum.
