Robert J. Mulgrew Jr, 75, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 18, 2025 while prepping for his next trip to Akumal. Bob was born in Dubuque, Iowa on May 20th, 1949, and grew up on a ranch along with his siblings Mike and Mary. Bob dedicated much time to his horsemanship skills, becoming a National Champion. In his twenties, he was a founding member of the Dubuque Rugby Club.Having lived and worked in Iowa, Nebraska, southern and northern California, as well as spending many years in Akumal, Mexico – he always cultivated new friendships wherever life took him.
