RESULTS OF THE RED CROSS FUNDRAISER DINNER IN AKUMAL THIS MONTH
The Red Cross dinner in Akumal this month was a fantastic success, raising $82,413 mx, which is an increase over the $66,000 pesos that we raised at the last dinner. On behalf of the Tulum Red Cross, I would like to thank each and every person who came to the dinner, and made this event possible!
Huge thanks go to Jen and Bart Smith and their team at Turtle Bay Café, who donated 100% of the ticket price to fund the Akumal Ambulance. Special thanks also to Natalie Novak Perez, David Belille, and Luke Bugeaud, for donating their talent and performances to entertain us!
There were many people who donated to the event, even though they were unable to attend, and there were also those who donated extra money that night.
