Best Shirt June, 2015 was another fun evening as locals and tourists gathered at LolHa Beach Bar the first Friday of the month. While some preening and parading did occur, it was an evening to meet friends and play catch-up on local events and extend greetings. Mary Henderson welcomed Lisa Evans and Lu Moen–all the way from Wisconsin– to help select the winner of this coveted award. The outstanding shirt for June was won by Sam Goby of Playa Caribe and Sacramento, California. The judges admitted it was not an easy selection–and, as the crowd insisted, all of the top three shirts were identified (see photo below)…so along with congrats to Sam, there’s honorable mention to Cowboy Robinson and Dan Freemen.
This event takes place every first Friday of the month at LolHa Beach Bar. It is open to men and women and the only requirements are that the shirt must have a collar and buttons….so be sure to include your favorite shirt when you are getting ready for your Akumal trip!
