The Best of the Best, July 2019 was cozy and carefree. Fourteen of us cheered each other as winners were announced in the three competing categories. It was family-win night as George walked away with the Best Shirt honors and wife Josie absolutely nailed it for the Best Clever Tee. The judgeship was a little crazy this evening as one of the usual judges who for 12 years has been a non-contestant was named the winner for Best Sandals. Congrats, Mary, and thanks for putting your winning drink coupon into the random drawing event. A free drink (respectively) from La Buena Vida, Lunita, and Turtle Bay Bakery restaurants were given to each winner. The random drawing saw a first-ever attendee, Jane, win the Cueva Vodka contributed by Turtle Bay Bakery, and Lydia captured the Tee Shirt offered by La Buena Vida.
