There’s a new restaurant in town. Surf Cowboy Grill and Bar has opened, and so far the reviews are positive. Located on the Akumal Norte main road, it’s a few lotes north from Nahil condos, on the other side of the street.
For dinner we ordered Caramel Shrimp. It’s an appetizer served on greens, but the portion is large enough for a meal. Delicious! Another diner tried the grilled arrachera served with mashed potatoes and vegetable. It came sizzling to the table. At lunch we wanted to order the ham and cheese quiche from the breakfast menu and were told no problem . The chilaquiles rojas were excellent, and another luncher said she’d order the caesar salad again.
JB and Mónica and their staff, are extremely friendly. They go out of their way to remember your name. There are multiple TV’s for watching your favorite games and a pool table in the bar area. Oh, and Happy Hour is from 4 – 6 every day, drinks 2 for 1.
