Below is information about the Vecinos annual meeting. It’s followed by the proxy format.
Full Membership in Vecinos de Akumal Norte is restricted to owners of property in Akumal Norte. Where ownership is shared, all owners may become members but only one member may vote. Honorary membership in Vecinos is open to anyone with an interest in Akumal Norte. Honorary membership does not include the right to vote. The fee for both types of membership is $3000 pesos.
A Full member who is unable to attend the meeting may appoint any person to participate in the meeting as his/her proxy.
Vecinos de Akumal Norte has nine Board members, the majority of whom must be full-time residents.
