For the second month, the new Best of the Best awards for December 2016 drew rave reviews from those gathered at La Buena Vida Restaurant. Seating in the area where live bands appear were six tables with 4-7 chairs which enabled lively conversations between each as well as those opting to sit at the bar. An informal count of 40+ people made for interesting discussion among this month’s judges (Bart Smith, Nan Armstrong, and Mary Henderson). Although many people were camera shy, the smiles pictured below attest to the good times as people vied to be selected for Best Shirt, Best Sandals or Best Clever T Shirt. Area restaurants participating in Best of the Best awards with a free drink for winners were Turtle Bay Bakery and Cafe, Lunita, and La Buena Vida.
