What??!? I Can’t Hear You!

You really don’t have to put up with outrageous noise levels, whether you’re a tourist or a resident.  Mexico has a standard which establishes the maximum allowable noise level: NOM-081-SEMARNAT-1994.  Amazon,  Home Depot, and other stores  sell devices to measure decibel output.

So when you just can’t stand it one minute more,  call 911.  The responder will direct your call to someone who can help.
