A curfew will begin in Tulum starting tonight. This is good as it will support limited access to North Akumal at night and hopefully minimize intruders. The guards are knowledgeable and supportive of enforcing the curfew.
Starting tonight, a curfew will also be in effect at all entrances/exits to Akumal Norte from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am.
A guard will be stationed in the gatehouse, and guards will be at various support units. Residents and businesses must be informed so owners and guests are home or on their way by the time the bay closes at 10:00 pm. Zero exceptions.
