Our dear Charlene Powell passed away this week. She left Akumal by Air Ambulance in March 2021 after a fall. We knew she would most probably not be able to come back to Akumal. It was a sad time for all of us.
These pictures show her during happier times, helping at the fundraisers, celebrating birthdays and holidays! This is how we want to remember Charlene. She was a bright light for so many people, caring and loving and totally giving selflessly, never complaining about her physical challenges.
Rest in peace dear Charlene. You are now with our Father in heaven. We love you!
