Attention Akumal friends and neighbors!
There is a new Lab Clinic in the Pueblo, right on the main street, first block on the right! I stopped in and the lab techs were very nice. ANTIGEN TESTS for 600mx with a two hour turnaround. Blood work and urine tests for everything you can think of, from parasites to hormones to dengue. They send all of the samples to their larger clinic in Tulum for analysis.
The clinic is open 7 days per week, 7am – 7pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-2pm on Sundays. They also do home visits. No more trips to Tulum or Playa for lab work
