And the winners of Best Shirt for January, 2016 were, wait for it ………… Dave Zucker, Wendell Day, and Tom Baxter!!! Why three winners, you ask–well…either snow-birds were late arriving to Akumal and Best Shirt, 2016 or there was confusion whether or not to celebrate the first day of the new year at Lol Ha Beach Bar or elsewhere. Elsewhere won out! At 6:00 pm there appeared to be one potential winner, and not enough people to have the 3-person usual committee to judge, so Mary was about to announce the winner when a second potential winner showed, then a third. Needless to say, an executive decision was made and all three were chosen!
