Ask Allyn . . . Fish Tacos Sauce — & More

From the desk of Allyn:
Today’s tip:  Always read the ingredients in any pre-packaged food product. Remember, they are in order of concentration, i.e. the most first. A good example would be the locally common boxed fruit juices — it reads: water, sugar, concentrated fruit juice, several unpronounceable items (mostly chemicals) and almost always includes — get this–aspartame or similar artificial sweetener.  I guess it’s not sweet enough with only sugar.
Next time you make fish tacos, try this sauce:
½ c. sour cream
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 T  lime juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sriracha
Anybody read Michael Connely? The Bosch TV series is pretty good.
Thanx guys. Happy eating!
