Another section of road has been completed using road pavers, this time in front of several businesses going toward the Arch.
Just prior to high season, three sections of road were finished in North Akumal. According to Vecinos de Akumal Norte, there are further plans to pave sections at the northern end of the road. There is also discussion of regularizing topes.
