Many of you have received a mailing from David Poor explaining the movement to create the Akumal No Fishing Zone. The purpose of the Akumal No Fishing Zone is to promote recovery of the coral reef and its fish population. The area designated runs from Yal Ku Lagoon to the southern edge of Hotel Gran Bahía Príncipe, and 1.3 km from the shoreline seaward.
