We need to be sure to do our part and follow the laws and rules of the season:

*Limited beach walking between 9PM-5AM

*Lights on porches out or replaced with dim lighting

*Noise kept low and limited in evening hours

*No pets on beach or on leashes at all times

*No flash lights on the beach (unless red lighting)

*If encountering a turtle on the beach – contact CEA team member stationed in your area or call 984 875 9095

*Remember, it is against the law to touch or disturb the endangered turtles.

Marine turtles are classified as endangered species in Mexico. Article 420 BIS of the Federal Criminal Code establishes fines from one to nine years in prison for anyone who damages,  deprives a marine turtle of life, or harvests or stores any sea turtle product and/or any by-product.
