Once in a blue moon . . .

January 31 is the first of two Blue Moons in 2018.  The second  will occur in March.   A Blue Moon is defined as the second of two full moons to fall within a single calendar month.  Not only will we have a Blue Moon, but it will be a supermoon and will pass through the Earth’s shadow to give us a total lunar eclipse!  First time in 150 years!  Oh, wahoo!
