Members of the Mayan Garden Club have been super busy cultivating gardens, friends, and great food.
December found us at Casa Gatos for our annual feast and party. We were entertained by Joan and Greg, our own professional members who are now appearing on the Grateful Dead Stage on alternate Saturdays. Then in January we had a great brunch in Playa and toured Las Palmas. February brought our pre-Super Bowl Party at Kathleen and Steve’s with Kathleen talking to us about pruning trees and her landscape experience.
February will further bring us to Tom and Judy Baxter’s for Lunch on the Sea. If you are interested in joining us, email marguerite at [email protected]
We are an ongoing group open to residents and visitors, men and women. You do not need a garden or a green thumb, just a desire to join a great group of people that welcomes new, returning, and permanent residents. If you come and go, it is a great place to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Hope to see you!
