“Memo” Essy died on April 15, 2024 in Lake Wales, FL. Memo and his wife Marcy were pioneers in the early days of Akumal. They so enjoyed it here. His friends in Akumal and in the surrounding areas will miss Memo. We were happy to see Memo here in Akumal just weeks before he died. Along with his wife Marcy, Memo leaves, two sons, Jeff and Lukas, and one grandson.
A memorial service will be held n June 8, 2024, at 5 PM at the Catholic church in Chemuyil.
