Robin’s Best Shirt Contest this September was surprisingly well-attended and the crowd glowed with good cheer and really great shirts. This event honors the memory of Robin Goble whose penchant for classy and colorful shirts was well-known. This event is held on the first Friday of each month at LolHa Beach Bar. “Contest” rules are that the winning shirt must have a collar and buttons. The winner is selected by a 3-person ad hoc committee headed by Robin’s sister, Mary Henderson. Judges for September 2014 were David Zucker, Rozanne Quintero, and Mary Henderson. The judges announced the winner; then this fun-loving crowd gathered for the group photo. What followed was totally unexpected, but totally awesome! See related story—Surprise September Storm.
