Zumba is a Latin dance workout program, primarily aerobic and definitely cardio. It’s low-impact, so perfect for olders. There are also weight-loss benefits. Experts say you can burn 300+ calories per session — and if you’re doing Zumba, you’re not snacking!
Our area is lucky to have a Zumba class nearby. It takes place in the Domo in Chemuyil 4 days a week – Tuesday thru Friday. Sessions run from 8:00 – 9:00am, which leaves the whole day free to do …….whatever! Cost is $100 mx per wk. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel and a stick (unscrew the handle from a broom). Everyone is welcome!
