Who Should You Vote For?

VoteThe Problem

This election cycle in the United States is a very interesting one, to say the least. Both major party candidates have low levels of trust and under 50% approval ratings. This is leading many people to say that they will vote for the “lesser of two evils.” But until now, most of the debates and political adverts have focused on attacks of the other candidates instead of the actual issues. We see more in the news about which candidate is more racist, a bigger liar, or too cozy with Wall Street.

One thing people should not forget is that, while we have a “two party system,” there are other choices and if enough people vote for whom they believe, then there is a real chance of that candidate winning.

Past elections have seen an outside candidate barely make a blip on the radar or do nothing more than steal votes from the two major party candidates (Ross Perot anyone).  But this election there are so many people who are unhappy with the major candidates that there is a real chance for a third candidate to make it. Until now the news has been focused on the national conventions of the major parties, but those will be over soon and we might start to see others show up in the news.
