NO PROXIES NEEDED
ELECTION BUDDY ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM
For the first time you can cast your own vote at the members’ Annual/Ordinary meeting without being there in person or having to appoint a proxyholder!
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS
Based on your membership email address, you will receive from ElectionBuddy an invitation to vote online, which will come with a unique key in your email giving you access to the Vecinos Voting Ballot. Your ballot choices will be protected at all times. You may start from 12:01 AM Akumal time (EST) and voting will close at 2:30 PM Akumal time (EST). This gives you 14 hours to cast your vote.

STEPS NEEDED TO FILL OUT YOUR BALLOT
- When you click the active key in your ElectionBuddy email, a voting ballot will open immediately. The candidates’ names have interactive circles next to them. Click the circle next to the name of the candidate for whom you are voting, or you may write in a candidate you prefer to vote for in the blank spaces provided.
- When you have completed the form, click submit and your vote will be registered.
- There is a final step that must be taken. You must sign-in to the Members’ Ordinary Zoom Meeting on February 17, 2022, anytime between 11:00 AM (EST) and 2:30 PM (EST) your sign-in shows you attended the meeting, and it validates your vote.
WHAT IF I ALREADY GAVE MY PROXY TO A PROXYHOLDER TO VOTE FOR ME, BUT I WOULD NOW PREFER TO CAST MY OWN VOTE?
Simply send an email to your proxyholder BEFORE the start of the Annual Meeting stating that you are cancelling your proxy. In addition, send the same email to The Director of Elections at [email protected]
