April 12 – The “Pink Moon” is the name given to the full moon that occurs in April, not because of its color, but because it coincides with the blooming of the pink moss phlox or creeping phlox, one of the earliest spring wildflowers.

April 22 – the maximum of the Lyrid meteor shower, with a ZHR of 18. The activity of the shower lasts from April 14 to April 30. It is nice to know that you can see the particles of comet C/1861 G1 (Thatcher), which humanity has not seen for more than 160 years, burning up in the Earth’s atmosphere.
April 25 – A triple conjunction will occur when a waning crescent moon will align with Venus and Saturn, forming a “smiley face” in the early morning sky.
