Rotten, No-good Thief Alert

Here’s some darn sad and (insert adjective of your choice) news.   We know that thieves target tourist areas, so we usually  pay attention to our belongings and our surroundings.

Thieves recently have availed themselves of techno devices that allow them to detect the presence of electronic devices inside vehicles.   There are reports of incidents in parking lots in Playa del Carmen at Chedraui, Home Depot, and Soriana.  A screwdriver is jammed into the keyhole to gain entry and the only items stolen are the electronics.

So please don’t leave anything unattended in your car  while running errands or enjoying an outing,
