Quinto Cavaliere Bookstore in Playa del Carmen is a gem! In a very small space you can browse paperback and hard cover books in a variety of languages. If you bring in two books, you can trade them in for a new one. Or you can purchase one for $20 mx.
The shop is easy to find – turn off the federal highway onto Calle 1 Sur (by Chedraui), and continue a few blocks. You’ll see a park on your left, and a few doors further on your right will be La Quinto Cavaliere – La Librería Invisible.
Hours are 10:00 – 6:00, Monday thru Saturday.
