Tuesday, November 30th is #GivingTuesday, the Global Day of Giving.
As part of our #GivingTuesday fundraising effort, our goal is to raise enough funds on that date to cover 50% of our 2022 Operational Expenses. Our Operating expenses cover teachers’ salaries, utilities, building maintenance, miscellaneous expenses, and basic classroom supplies. This will allow us the freedom to focus on the children without such a large expense looming over us.
Our after school and summer school programming provides the children of Akumal pueblo with the opportunity to learn – and potentially achieve a future – beyond what is available to them in the pueblo. And your gift helps us to make this possible.
