Long-time Akumal resident, pal, Tequilaville patron, and AkumalNow contributor Allyn died of covid last week.
From his friend Kim: “He loved his parents. He loved going to the cabin in Canada with his parents, and his father was the one who taught him to be handy. His mom was a good cook, and it was her frosting recipe that he used at my daughters wedding. He also got his love of animals from his dad. He had fun in college, and stayed at his purchasing job until he retired.”
A memorial will be held at Tequilaville on Thursday, 7 April, from 4-6pm..

RIP. In December, we discussed his corned beef recipe he was making. He was quite interested how it would turn out.
