Greetings from the Akumal International Artist Residency. I hope you are all well. There is a bit of news to share about the residency. We have been offered an exciting new opportunity: A MONTH LONG RESIDENCY in GUANAJUATO, MX!
So AIAR is going inland for a month! What a great opportunity to expand our reach to artists and communities. This is a European, cultural city on a hill. Charming galleries, restaurants and shops galore. Diverse, artist community that, like Akumal, is excited to host international artists. It is located in North Central MX, near Leon.
If you are an artist, consider applying or help us spread the word. If you are a supporter in Akumal, please also share the residency, as it only builds on what we do in Akumal! This is an amazing and quickly approaching opportunity!
RESIDENCY DATES: tentatively September 1-30, 2015
