The AKUMAL CLEANUP is scheduled for  TODAY,  Friday, 29 March 2024.

Work will begin at 8:00 am,  moving from Casa Esperanza to Yalku.

• Tools: machetes, rakes

• Trucks to collect garbage $1400 per truck, x 10
• Yellow paint for no-parking zone by La Pluma: 1 bucket @ $3,200 (Comex)
• Painting tools @ $1000 (Comex)
• Labor cost for painting @ $3000
• Black bags, safety vests
• Gloves
• $$ Cash donations

We will be scheduling the second phase of Cleanup for after Easter — cleaning the entrances to Akumal Pueblo and Akumal Playa, the areas that border the federal highway.
