Golden Rain Tree The Golden Rain tree is a beautiful graceful, tall tree. In late spring and summer it is covered with yellow blossoms, and in autumn and winter, graceful paper lanterns dangle. The flowers are on a hanging stalk about 12-18 inches long and bloom usually in the summer months. Golden Rains are hardy, thriving in the tough urban environment and an wide range of soil conditions. Flowers usually appear after the third year, though sometimes sooner.
