1. Good for Luis and Rhett. Diane and I lived in North Akumal for over 20 years, did a lot of projects for the community, and it was always the same. Only 10% of all the homeowners, condo owners and businesses were willing to chip in some money to make Akumal a better place. We visited Akumal for two weeks in Feb and the entrance was an embarrassment so it’s nice to see improvements are being made to the road. Now if you can just bulldoze 90 % of the businesses and set fire to all the taxis it will return to the simple-beautiful entrance it
